After 2015 wc this is a big issue .This is very sad to see that such a big down fall for the team.
Why BCCI is falling to solve the issue?
The big question is why Kohli and Rohit rested for 2nd ODI. Now the 3rd match is decider again both will play, Then what is point to rest them. The Indian cricket team management is currently facing a lot of issues with injury concerns for many of their key players. Players like Jasprit Bumrah, KL Rahul, Pant, Shreyas Iyer, and Prasidh Krishna have been out of cricketing action for a long time due to their respective injuries. However, most of these players underwent surgeries and now are going through the rehabilitation period at the National Cricket Academy in Bengaluru.

Ishan Kishan and Sanju Samson are currently a part of the Team India squad, which will play the three-match ODI series against West Indies. Ishan on one end is known to play aggressive cricket and can play the role of a finisher. whereas Samson on the other hand can bat at number 4 and strengthen the team’s middle order. But both the players are unaware that they will play the world cup or not !
Surya Kumar Yadav and Shreyas Iyer for the ODI World Cup, set to be played in the months of October and November in India. With several players injured or out of form in the middle order, India will be looking for strong performances from players to seal the spot. Surya performance is not upto the mark in recent Odis. It is interesting to see how BCCI and team management will execute this issue. Shreyas Iyer is likely to play Asia cup .
Speaking on a event about the same, RP Singh said that both Yadav and Iyer had the capability to do well in the middle order for Indian in the World Cup. Veteran India pacer Ishant Sharma has said that wicket-keeping batter Rishabh Pant won’t be fit to play in the 2023 ODI World Cup for sure. Pant has been stepping up his recovery following a horrific car accident in December last year.
According to the BCCI’s release, Bumrah and Prashid Krishna another fast bowler are bowling at full intensity. The duo will now play some practice games, which the NCA will Organise. The BCCI Medical Team is pleased with their progress and will make a final decision after assessing them following the practice games. Finally it’s all about the team management how they overcome and short this issue as soon as possible, the sooner the better.
